Belkin F6D4230 "Enhanced Wireless Router"

Just got the Belkin Enhance Wireless Router F6D4230-4. Looks like it has a ralink RT3052 or RT3050 under the hood. This is a MIPS24KEc based SoC, with a full Linux GPL tarball available from Belkin's web site.

I haven't had a chance to open the box yet to see what else is inside, and this is inferred entirely from the Linux config file that was in the GPL compliance package.

Not sure what I'm going to do with this box...

Are there any commodity wireless routers that would support a BSD, preferably FreeBSD, OS?

I am not a hardware hacker but am interested in dabbling a little... but I think for a first embedded project I'd like to make it simple and take on something with a high degree of success. I'd love to run pf on a small silent box. Actually I can think of lots of apps I'd love to put in small silent low power computers.

PS, I enjoyed reading your overview of FreeBSD/mips as I find it interesting to see the vendor interactions. Worked for a big iron Unix vendor years ago (Data General).
